Fully accessable Model Village.

  • Wheelchairs available (please book in advance).
  • Almost all paths and walkways are easily accessible by visitors in wheelchairs, however elevated walkway and gift shop have stair access only.
  • Refreshment kiosk serving hot and cold snacks. Two picnic areas.
  • We admit Assistance Dogs into the Model Village.
  • We hope to be able to give full wheelchair access to ride-on railway by 2005, and apologise for the restrictions until then.

    Be a Giant!

    Bekonscot is not just one village; there are six charming little villages in 1.5 Acre site, miniature landscape of farms and fields, castles and churches, woods and lakes!

    Walking around, you will tower over the tiny population enjoying the fun of the fair, visiting the zoo, or lazily watching the cricket on the village green.

    The Ultimate Trainset?

    The busy model raiway weaves its way through the beautifully crafted gardens, under paths and over bridges. With a full-size signalbox in control and seven stations to serve, this incredible Gague 1 line is one of the most complex and famous in the country. There are often more than 7 passenger and goods trains operating at one!

    Gorgeous Gardens & Moving Models

    Thousands of manicured alpine plants and dwarf conifers make up the backdrop to the many working models, such as the Coalmine, House on fire, Fairground, Windmill and Tramway. Listen out too for the choir, brass band, morris men, and station announcer!

    By Road

    Junction 2 - M 40 (Junc 16 M25) Junction 8 - M4 then A355, A40 & A355. Follow signs for Model Village

    Car Parking: Opposite main Bekonscot Entrance

    Coaches: Please use the entrance off roundabout (Waitrose).

    Excellent Train and Bus Links

    Beconsfield Railway Station is a 5 minute walk.

    Chiltern Railways run from London Marylebone - Beconsfield - High Wycombe - Banbury - Birminigham.
