Visitor Centre offers a wheelchair borrowing service

New Millennium Experience Ride has one specially adapted car to accept most wheelchairs (may not be suitable for large motorised chairs) and 5 cars with induction loop system
Visitor Centre lift will be in operation in autumn, 2004 along with more automatic opening doors
Robert Owens School is fully accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with mobility problems, with lift to all levels, ground level entrance, and induction loop system available in the theatre
Wheelchair access available into Robert Owens House, 1820s/1930s Stores (not suitable for large motorised wheelchairs), The Millworkers House(two low steps into building)
Portable induction loop system available for guided tours
Disabled toilets available in Robert Owens School, Mill Pantry and Hotel
Essential carers accompanying wheelchair visitors receive a complimentary pass
Hotel has 5 fully equipped rooms for guests with mobility difficulties, and two lifts which go to all floors
